Pat Zaby, CRS, CRB, CCIM

Pat Zaby began his real estate career in 1968 and has been involved in sales, management, commercial, and property management.  He owned and operated a multi-office real estate company.

Pat Zaby understands the needs of today's real estate agent. He knows how they think; what they'll do and won’t do. This makes a huge difference in knowing how to train them.

Pat Zaby acquired a specialized education with a bachelor's degree in real estate from the University of North Texas and a variety of professional designations including CCIM, Certified Commercial Investment Member, CRB, Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, CRS, Certified Residential Specialist, and GRI, Graduate of the REALTORS® Institute.

National Speaker & Instructor

Pat Zaby taught nationally for over 30 years in the CRS, Certified Residential Specialist and GRI, Graduate of the REALTORS® Institute programs.

Pat Zaby has spoken many times at the National Association of REALTORS® Convention and a featured speaker for state association conventions and national franchises, like RE/MAX®, Realty Executives, Keller Williams, Coldwell Banker, ERA, Century 21, and Realty World.

Pat Zaby collaborated with Charles “Pug” Scoville, Dr. Michael Lawler and Tom Martin to develop the ITI, Instructor Training Institute which is used by many state associations to certify instructors for the GRI program.


Pat Zaby developed several programs that became industry standards for real estate agents such as the $10 Million Post Card Prospecting System, PREP Software and the Marketing Library. A distinguishing focus of his products is the strong marketing aspect.


Pat Zaby published over 120 articles in professional periodicals including Real Estate Business, REALTOR® Magazine, Real Estate Today, Real Estate Professional, Mobility, Texas REALTOR®, Florida REALTOR®, and other state association magazines.

  • He writes one of the most widely-read e-mail newsletters for agents.
  • Pat authored How to Automate for More Listings and Sales, Profiles of Top Producers, and several software technical manuals.


Pat Zaby has consulted with many of the most influential companies to help develop products and services to better serve the real estate community. Pat's work with Texas Instruments included development on the BA Real Estate calculator, which allows agents to easily provide information for buyers and sellers to make better decisions. Other Accomplishments

Pat Zaby owned an insurance agency for 15 years that served the customers and clients of his real estate business.

Pat Zaby owned a restaurant in the early ‘80s that received numerous press releases and quickly built a loyal customer base. Some of the specialties included homemade Italian sausage sandwiches, Spincione, a Sicilian pizza bread, and beer biscuits. It was open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and had a full-service bar.
